福岡の両親が荷物を送ってくれました。１０キロにもなる荷物をEMSを使って送ってくれて、何と今までで最短の３日で福岡からロンドンに着きました。箱を開けて両親からの色んな贈り物を見ていると、夫婦揃って一足先にクリスマスの気分になったのでした。
My parents in Fukuoka sent us a 10kg parcel. Sent by a Japanese postal service called EMS (Express Mail Service), it was delivered after only 3 days. We opened the box and seeing the gifts,I had a feeling of Christmas.
ロンドンの町中にある、オックスフォードストリートもリージェンツストリートもクリスマスのイルミネーションが点灯されましたが、私はスローンスクエアの、大人なイルミネーションが好きです。スローンスクエアの駅の近くにあるデパート、ピーター・ジョーンズのウィンドウは電化製品やキッチン用品で作られた動物でにぎわっています。これは一見の価値がありますよ！！
The Christmas illuminations in Oxford street and Regent’s street are lit up but I prefer the ones in Sloane Square, a very cozy and down to earth atmosphere. I enjoy the windows in Peter Jones where I see animal objects made from electrical goods and other household objects including kitchen stools. Take a look if you are in the area!!
